IT SEEMS TO BE TRUE

"It's usually through our hard times,

the unexpected and not -according-to-plan times

that we experience God in more intimate ways.

We discover an unquenchable longing to know Him more.

It's a passion that isn't concerned that life fall within certain predictable lines,

but a passion that pursues God and knows He is relentless in His pursuit of each one of us."

When I read this entry I thought that we as humans can be very self-centered! It's when times are rough, tough or down right scary that we seek God! And wouldn't you know it...God is right there everytime!
I wonder why I don't seek God everyday and share all the good times with him/her too???
Hmmmmmm.......

Remember - Sometimes there is only one set of footprints in the sand! When we are being carried. So our goal should be to have 2 sets of footprints when we aren't in hard times.

Here's my version:

I can remember an unexplanable sense of peace that crept over me toward the end of the basketball season my junior year.

There was an organization that I felt was taking away one the most important things in world to me....my chance to play....not neccesarily win....just play!

I know my parents, family, and many in the community were trying to help in every way they knew how...but that calm in the storm didn't come from them.

Peace,
Mark A

So sad that we don't express our
love and gratitude to the Lord
when things are just ho-hum, nothing going on. Just a connect
to our best friend, even to say,
Good morning God, how is your day?Anne
