So often, in the past, I would skip any type of formal prayer (allocated time for prayer and nothing else)thinking that the Lord knows my heart so he knows what I would pray for/about. I have worked harder at allocating the quit time for formal prayer and feel much better in the end. It's great that he knows our hearts but he still deserves a little more effort from us on the communication side of the house!
