Stopping at Walhalla Overlook,














we even took time to read the signs and view the archaeological site of the Walhalla Glades Ruins, the remains of several Native American dwellings.














And then back in the van to travel the short distance remaining to Cape Royal,














when we were suddenly overtaken by a speeding vehicle with flashing lights, that stopped in front of us and an obviously excited Park Ranger jumped out and hurried back to where we had stopped, and told us to..."turn this vehicle around right here and get down off the mountain"!
