FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
I always look forward to seeing the children coming back to school. (I'm sure this happiness isn't shared by all.)

First day involves Moms ...
and Dads...
But the "old timers" just go it alone.
The bookbag looks awfully heavy to me.
I know Iwill enjoy another year of watching the activity across the street.
Let's all say a little prayer for the youngsters, the teachers, and everyone involved in helping our children grow up to be the best that they can be...body, mind and spirit.
Thank you God that you hear our prayers.

A prayer has been said for all those who are going back to school - teachers, counselors, custodial workers, kitchen workers, etc....

yes, quite exciting at the Wilson School this morning at the end of our block. more cameras in one place than i've seen for a while and moms and dads captured that first day. one little girl, i'm certain, was 3'10" and her backback was 3' 8". Cute.
