THE ADVENTURE BEGINS
Saturday morning began a week of various exciting, fun-filled, challenging, back-in-time, delicious, hilarious, surprising, musical and at times spiritual days and evenings.
It all began with the morning view from our balcony.
And included white-water rafting, hiking (from Curt's trek up...and down...Mount Le Conte, aka as "High Top", elev. 6,589 and the 3rd highest in the park, to my meandering along the paths that led to various sites and sounds...and everything in between), horseback riding, fishing, zip-lining, shopping, traveling the historic offerings by bike, car and on foot, (more about that later), searching for bears and all things wild, swimming, sunning, exploring, dining, (both great homecooked and eating out), checking out the tourists spots in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, including a visit to an exciting Aquarium, visiting and sharing, and just having a great time with everyone doing just what they wanted to do...and only one standing rule (which always applies when we gather) "Have Fun!".
We often ended the day with the "game of the week", Mexican Train.
Add a liitle
left over
pizza and a
beverage of
choice...great
fun.
Or one could
just relax and
catch up on
the news of
the day.

I will leave to the judgment of each of you as to which category we fall into, but I know what I think!
More tomorrow.
