WELCOME TO FALL
Picked these up on my morning walk....Yes, welcome to Fall!
I enjoy the change of seasons.
Oh, I must admit that I do my share of complaining when the thermometer hovers at 100 degrees or "old man winter' gets to showing off a little too vigorously!
But I'm working on that (the complaining)...not attempting to do anything about the weather!
Must admit that the slowing down of grumbling about what is going on outside gets easier when you grow older, retire, and don't have to venture out if you don't want to. (not the only thing that "slows down" of course....but, oh well, we won't go into all that!)
Yes, I also enjoy the seasons of life, and find that growing older can bring with it so many good things.....(maybe we will talk about that one of these days.)
But for today....this is what I want to think on.
The Faithfulness of God
"As long as earth endures,
seedtime and harvest,
cold and heat,
summer and winter,
day and night
will never cease."
God (Genesis 9:22)
Enjoy!

"... gracefully surrendering the things of youth." Your mother comes to mind each time I think of this quote, and as I get to spend time with you and your thoughts, I am reminded of you. WELCOME AUTUMN
Thank goodness you're back!! : )
Your blog is a like a creamy and sweet cup of coffee in the morning...I've missed waking up to your pictures and thoughts.
Loveya.
Hello wise one!...I'm soooo glad you're back....I was really missing my daily dose of inspiration
Fall brings a bundle of happy memories for me....it's basketball time!!!
For some reason....I was never so full of 'it'....than when it was time for a tip-off in the Tiger gym
E hugs to all

Welcome back! Your photo is like a painting, the light and colors are so smooth. Glad you are back with your thoughts.
The first cool days of fall are my favorites of the year. Even more than the first warm rays of Spring, but it's a close race.
While others are on the subject of remembering their earlier autumns, I'll combine thoughts of grandmother and autumn. One word...RAKING. And...more raking. Oh, and, raking down the side slopes to the woods. That slope seemed a lot longer then than the last time I saw it. And then, $3 in my pocket.
