WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Posted by Picasa One morning I snapped a shot of this man leaving the bakery carrying this single loaf of bread. He was going south.

As I circled the block to start home, I saw him again. This time headed north. (minus bread....saved bag)

If you were writing a narrative for this scenario, what would it be?

TFT: You first : )

I'd say he took the fresh bread to his 99 year old mother! They smeared it with real butter and spread some raspberry preserves on it. Then they washed it down with a shot of espresso!
He couldn't stay because he had a meeting with the other Italian men regarding their next Bocce tournament.
He'll go back for lunch and have more of the bread with a bowl of pasta and red sauce!
That sounds like a great day to me!! : )

Sounds like rewired has been paying attention to the 'lessons on the Hill'....and she is hungry!

Now for me....
It is obvious by his body language that there is a 'sweetheart' in the middle of the bread exchange...yes, fresh bread delivered daily to the love of his life.
(in case you didn't know....women love gifts)

I love fall and you too

Ah yes, a sweetheart! As a woman I know how much we love gifts...however, I'm stickin' to my story of the little Italian mama!

I too wonder if it was his mama or his sweetheart. Moreover I wonder if he wanted to go, or if he ~had~ to go? And did he get to have his coffee first.

Great!

At least all the ideas are Italian!

Family, food and Amore!

(I think maybe the saving of the bag also fits here... Thrifty!)

Come back tomorrow as the adventure continues....

Is there a pond with ducks or swans nearby? If so, maybe he spent the time feeding them and just sitting enjoying the fall surroundings. "As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease." Genesis 8:22 (NIV)

Thanks for the visi.
No ponds, or ducks or swans, but if there were, the pictures would surely fit perfectly!
Reminded me of carrying the breadsack down to Capaha Park and feeding aforementioned creatures.
Thanks also for the affirmation of God's faithfulness.
