A PLEDGE

"I will let God's peace infuse every part of today.

As the chaos swirls and life's demands pull at me on all sides.

I will breathe in God's peace that surpasses all understanding.

He has promised that He would set within me

a peace too deeply planted to be affected

by unexpected or exhausting demands."

Do you think I can get him to do my year end performance appraisals?
I hate them...would rather take a sharp stick in the eye!

Oh well, here goes...
I will think of this very quote every time I get so frustrated that anything within kicking distance is fair game!!!

Peace,

surely not more than a sharp stick in the eye!

I don't think he (assume you are referring to God) will actually do the aforementioned dreaded task for you: however he would probably help you through it all if asked....

and even more importantly, he has probably been with you in the preceding year (years) to the extent that your performance just might appraise out pretty high. (would be interested in knowing)

You've been through a lot this past year, son You deserve a lot of credit....and so does "he".

I love you so much.
