THE END OF A WONDERFUL DAY

The momentary disappointment of not being able to reach Cape Royal was soon forgotten as we returnd to the North Rim Visitor Center












and settled into our cabin.













And then, starting at the back porch of the Grand Canyon Lodge, we followed a narrow, paved, sometimes steep, 1/4 mile trail to Bright Angel Point; and there we waited in anticipation of the setting sun.
