SIMPLE BEAUTY

The tiny allysum almost gave up during those long, hot, August days.

But now it is blooming it's little heart out.
Seems to know that soon the frost is coming.http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/wildseed/37/37.7.html

The flower's story sounds a lot like us...

We get so hot in the summer that we think it will never end...but along come the cool days of fall and a whole new set of 'wonders' abound

thx again for the daily 'fix'

I am jealous that you keep getting to eat all that wonderful food over there. I am going to have to start driving to the "hill" more often!

I really love the idea that a flower can "bloom its little heart out."

So very cute : )
