A VISIT WITH MR. LINCOLN

The day trip I took last week (destination unknown) was wonderful. We went to Springfield, Illinois and spent about three hours (not near enough time) at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library. I would strongly urge one and all to take the time to take the trip. The library is about three years old, and words cannot adequately express how they have used modern technology, vast research, and incredible insight into the life and times of this man to bring to life this period of time in the history of our country.

This week I am going share some pictures taken and some words of Lincoln.

"There are no accidents in my philosophy.
Every effect must have its cause.
The past is the cause of the present, and the present will be the cause of the future.
All these are links in the endless chain stretching from the finite to the infinite."

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARK!
