Hello mom and family,
I am sorry that I missed the tribute to Grandmother on her
100th B-day....some memeories
- the dime in the kitchen window
- one (and only one) ring of the school bell in the front yard
- "a month of Sunday's"
- "a bushel and a peck"
- extra chocolate shake in the bottom of the frosty steel container when she'hosted' lunch at Sunny Hill
- her sitting along side mom and Harold at my home basketball games
- the pride she always took in her appearance without ever displaying an once of vain-ness
- how she loved to laugh with (and at) the children
- that unique loving embrace
- the way she said "Amen"
