WAKING UP

On The Hill, one really doesn't need to set an alarm clock.

You see, the bells of St. Ambrose ring each morning at 6:00 am to welcome in another new day.

Then they chime again at 6:25 am to call the faithful to Mass, and at precisely 6:30 am they ring to mark the start of worship.

And of course for those who still haven't gotten out of bed...and up and out...they sound again at 7:55 and 8:00 am to announce the start of school and the second Mass of the day!

Are you ready to go?

Thought for today: "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."
Lamentations 3: 22-23

Tomorrow: A "backup" to the bells

"Each Day A New Beginning" is the name of a daily meditation book Robin owned. Although it was many years ago, just the title of that book helps me get through the days now. Thank you for sharing that lamentation!

Mark A's thought for the day:

I wonder who is in charge of getting the bell ringer up?
Now there's a job I don't want!!!

Peace
